Black and Brown individuals experiencing homelessness and distressed foster care youth are struggling to find stable, safe housing.  The NAACP works to increase access to low-income and affordable housing, combats housing discrimination and eliminate restrictive housing practices and lending practices.  A lack of real affordable housing and gentrification in the District of Columbia has displaced many DC-natives, exacerbating the wealth gap for future generations.
