VETERAN AFFAIRS

The NAACP advocates for economic empowerment, safe housing, and mental health resources for Black veterans, active military and their families. It is critical that Black Veterans receive fair and equitable treatment. This is especially true for those serving in the military. The NAACP Washington, DC Branch’s Veteran Affairs Committee works with national, state, and local partners and Government agencies to ensure Active, Reserve, National Guard, and Veteran service members continue to receive fair and equitable treatment.
